Eyebrow lift

The aim of this treatment is to lift the eyebrows.

It requires a detailed assessment of the static and dynamic position of the eyebrows.

By carefully placing Botox in the muscles that pull the forehead down, a lifted position can be achieved, only the tails can be raised, or an arched eyebrow shape can be created.

At the same time, the face as a whole looks more refreshed and youthful.

Treatment time: 20 minutes
Results: full results 2 weeks after treatment
Lasts: 4–6 months

Bunny lines

What Are Bunny Lines?

They are dynamic wrinkles that appear on the bridge of the nose. In some people these wrinkles can also be prominent when smiling, running from the sides of the nose to the corners of the eyes. They are usually present on dry or sun-damaged skin. Botox is an excellent treatment for these wrinkles.

With a small injection on both sides of the nose, bunny lines can be significantly reduced – however, they are rarely eliminated completely. As with other Botox treatment areas, it is advisable to keep some residual muscle activity to maintain normal facial animation.

Treatment time: 15 minutes
Results: full results 2 weeks after treatment
Lasts: 3–6 months

Nose tip lift

One of the indications for Botox treatment is injections at the base of the nose to lift the tip and prevent it from dropping, including during facial expressions.

It is carried out in cases where the tip of the nose is seen to drop when smiling.

The injections lift the tip by relaxing the muscles that pull it down.

Only if your nasal tip drops/turns down when you smile can Botox be used to treat the muscle that causes this dynamic change.

If the nasal tip is always low, regardless of facial expression, this treatment is not indicated.

Treatment time: 20 minutes
Results: full results 2 weeks after treatment
Lasts: 6 months

Downturned corners of the mouth

With age, the skin at the corners of the mouth can droop downwards.

This gives the appearance of an “upside-down” mouth with a sad expression at rest.

Overactivity of the muscle that pulls down the corners of the mouth (Depressor Anguli Oris), repeatedly contracted, tends to pull the corners of the mouth downwards. By relaxing this muscle with Botox, the corners of the mouth lift back into their natural position.

For an optimal result, this treatment can be combined with dermal fillers.

Treatment time: 30 minutes
Results: maximum results seen 2 weeks after treatment
Lasts: 4–6 months

Dimpled chin

As the mouth is an area of the face that moves continuously, signs of ageing very often begin in this region.

A dimpled chin is evident when indentations and wrinkles are present both at rest and in movement.

This appearance can occur regardless of age, but it worsens over the years. Botox injections relax the chin muscles, eliminating the “orange peel” appearance and making the profile more defined.

Treatment time: 30 minutes
Results: maximum results seen 2 weeks after treatment
Lasts: 4–6 months

Will botulinum toxin change my facial expressions?

Botulinum toxin is injected in small doses directly into the glabellar, frontal and periorbital muscles, the depressor septi nasi, the depressor anguli oris, the masseter, the orbicularis of the upper and lower lip, the mentalis and the platysma. It does not prevent facial expressions or the ability to smile.

With less movement, the skin surface gradually smooths out and wrinkles begin to disappear.

Why BOTOX?

BOTOX is the only therapeutic agent able to improve facial expression lines by targeting the underlying muscles responsible.

In younger patients:

  • The smoothing and expressive effects are immediate
  • The treatment makes even a young face look more relaxed
  • If repeated over time, the treatment has a preventive effect on the appearance of dynamic wrinkles

In older patients:

  • The expressive effects are rapid
  • The extent to which static wrinkles disappear depends closely on skin elasticity
  • The treatment eliminates the negative effects of muscle contractions on the skin
  • If repeated over time, the treatment has a corrective effect on dynamic wrinkles
