LASER GINGIVECTOMY
AESTHETIC GUM RESHAPING
Biolase laser aesthetic gum reshaping (“laser recontouring”), or gum lift, is a treatment that aims to improve your smile in just a few minutes.
It reshapes the gum line of the teeth so that it is levelled according to aesthetic standards, giving the teeth balanced proportions. As a result, the smile looks symmetrical and radiant thanks to this quick and painless treatment.
DESCRIPTION AND ADVANTAGES OF THE TECHNIQUE:
The procedure is carried out using the BIOLASE EPIC X LASER. The laser removes excess gum, which is sculpted while also taking into account the patient’s aesthetic preferences.
The BIOLASE EPIC X LASER can gently remove excess tissue, thus avoiding bleeding and the risk of infection. The whole procedure is quick and in most cases only one session at our dental practice is needed.
We use a local anaesthetic, which allows us to work better, comfortably and easily; healing times are fast, everyday oral activities such as speaking or chewing are not affected, and the risk of side effects is almost zero.
Once the laser treatment is complete, patients will be able to see the results immediately.

CERAMIC DENTAL VENEERS
Are your teeth stained, chipped or misaligned?
Dental veneers, similar to very thin porcelain shells, are a good treatment option to consider for a natural result without significant reduction of the teeth.
Depending on your aesthetic needs, we can adapt the shape of the veneers to make your teeth look longer, or to align your smile or close gaps. It is possible to apply one or more veneers in the front area of the arch, up to a complete set, known as a smile makeover.
SMILE DESIGN WITH MOCK-UP
A single appointment at our practice is enough for you to see what your new smile will look like, as a diagnostic MOCK-UP can be produced. Wax is modelled on the initial plaster model of your teeth, recreating the ideal shape desired. We then create the composite mock-up: the ideal tooth shape designed on the model is transferred directly into the mouth using temporary composite veneers.
You therefore have the opportunity to see your future smile and try out the result we will achieve before starting treatment.

HOW CAN WHITE SPOTS BE TREATED?
Teeth whitening may be an option, but with little chance of success, as the spots still remain lighter in colour than the rest of the tooth. In this case, unsightly white spots on the upper teeth were bothering the patient. We applied a non-invasive approach, ICON treatment, without drilling the teeth, completely painless and without the need for anaesthesia. We removed the spots and restored the patient’s smile.
