DENTAL CROWNS
A crown is a type of dental restoration used to repair teeth that are broken, weakened by decay or have a very large filling. The crown fits over the remaining part of a prepared tooth, making it strong with the shape of a natural tooth. It is also made in the colour of your teeth, giving the restoration a more natural appearance that blends in.
A crown could be the ideal solution for you if you have discoloured fillings and want to improve their appearance.
Also, if you have had root canal treatment, you will need a crown to protect or cover the treated tooth, allowing you to eat and bite on it as if it were a natural tooth.
