Treatment Areas
- Smile lines or nasolabial folds. These vertical lines run from the side of the nose to the corners of the mouth

JUVÉDERM® VYCROSS
Juvederm Vycross is Allergan’s latest range of dermal fillers, which are longer-lasting, biodegradable and reversible.
They represent the latest technology in dermal fillers in the Juvederm range.
Juvederm Voluma – to improve the volume of the mid-face (such as the cheeks) and for non-surgical rhinoplasty.
It is the most cohesive and elastic product in the Vycross range and the first to be released a few years ago.
Juvederm Volbella – for longer-lasting results when treating hollows under the eyes and crow’s feet.
This product is the least cohesive and least elastic in the Vycross range, which makes it preferable for treating depressions because it is easy to place in the necessary areas with smooth results.
Juvederm Volift – the most recent in the range to be released. Excellent for longer-lasting results in nasolabial fold depressions, but it also creates fantastic definition for the lips.
JUVÉDERM® ULTRA
This is a range of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers with lidocaine (a local anaesthetic) that are injected to restore facial volume, fill wrinkles and folds and redefine the lips.
JUVÉDERM® ULTRA 2 is an injectable hyaluronic acid skin filler used to treat fine lines, particularly those around the corners of the eyes and those very close to the surface of the skin.
JUVÉDERM® ULTRA 3 is an injectable hyaluronic acid dermal filler used to smooth medium and deep wrinkles, such as those between the nose and the corner of the mouth.
JUVÉDERM® ULTRA 4 is an injectable hyaluronic acid dermal filler with an even greater volumising effect, used to fill deep skin depressions by injection, as well as for lip enhancement and cheek augmentation.
What are the key differences between Juvederm Ultra and Juvederm Vycross?
- Longer-lasting thanks to its unique production of high and low molecular weight HA (Voluma up to 24 months, Volift up to 15 months, Volbella up to 12 months)
- Better results because it is easier to mould once injected, thanks to a greater degree of elasticity and cohesion.
- It causes less swelling in the injected area because of the lower concentration of HA, which attracts less moisture and causes less post-treatment inflammation.
- Better ability to create lift and projection thanks to its comparatively better elasticity.
- Smoother and easier to inject (a lower extrusion force is required), as it is less viscous than Ultra.
- The patient pays less over a one-year period, if Vycross treatments are priced at less than two Ultra treatments combined at 6-month intervals.
RESTYLANE
Restylane is a popular collection of injectable fillers, including Restylane Classic, Restylane Lyft (cheeks) and the latest products Restylane Defyne and Refyne (laughter lines around the mouth).
Each filler is formulated with hyaluronic acid, a natural substance indicated for treating fine lines and creating volume.
