After microneedling treatment, the following instructions must be followed:

• FACIAL CLEANSING – Use a gentle cleanser and lukewarm water to clean your face for the next 72 hours and gently pat the treated skin dry.
• REGENERATION – Antioxidant serums are recommended after treatment, as their properties are ideal for helping the skin heal. These products can soothe the skin and reduce irritation.
• HYDRATION – After Micro-Needling treatment, the skin may be drier than normal. Hyaluronic acid is an ideal ingredient for hydrating it and restoring its perfect balance.
• STIMULATION – In the days following SkinPen™ treatment, and when the skin begins to regenerate, peptides and collagen are ideal for continuing regeneration.
• MAKE-UP – It is recommended not to apply make-up for 24 hours after the procedure and to avoid applying make-up with brushes
• PROTECTION – Immediately after the procedure, apply a broad-spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen with SPF 50. A chemical-free sunscreen is highly recommended.

WHAT TO AVOID:

• For at least 3 days after treatment, DO NOT use alpha hydroxy acids, beta retinol (vitamin A), vitamin C (in a low-pH formula) or any “active” skincare.
• Avoid intentional, direct sunlight for 24 hours. No sunbeds.
• Do not go swimming for at least 24 hours after treatment.
• No exercise or strenuous activity for the first 24 hours after treatment: sweating and gym environments are harmful, rich in bacteria and can cause adverse reactions.
